Feat (Functional Enumeration of Algebraic Types) provides enumerations as functions from natural numbers to values (similar to toEnum but for any algebraic data type). This can be used for SmallCheck-style systematic testing, QuickCheck style random testing, and hybrids of the two. The enumerators are defined in a very boilerplate manner and there is a Template Haskell script for deriving the class instance for most types. Test.Feat contain a subset of the other modules that should be sufficient for most test usage. There are some small and large example in the tar ball. Podcasting is a method of publishing radio-like programs on the Internet. Through podcasting, almost anyone can produce their own audio program, and publish episodes of it as often or as rarely as they like. To listen to podcasts, you need a program to download the podcast's episodes from the Internet. Such a program is called a podcatcher (or sometimes a podcast aggregator). hpodder is this program. hpodder's features include: Convenient, easy to learn, and fast command-line interface. It's simple to do simple things, and advanced things are possible. Automatic discovery of feed metadata Full history database for accurate prevention of duplicate downloads and tracking of new episodes Conversion tools to convert your existing feed list and history from other applications to hpodder. Supported applications and formats include: castpodder and ipodder. Most operations can work fully automatically across your entire podcast database, or they can work manually. Automatic updating of ID3 (v1 and v2) tags based on metadata in the podcast feed. This important feature is available through iTunes but is often missed by other podcatchers. hpodder operations can be easily scripted or scheduled using regular operating system tools. Fully customizable naming scheme for downloaded episodes, including a name collision detection and workaround algorithm. Automatic support for appending .mp3 extensions to MP3 files that lack them. Numerous database and history inquiry tools Small, minimalist footprint Power users and developers can interact directly with the embedded Sqlite3 database used by hpodder. The database has a simple schema that is developer-friendly. Support for resuming interrupted downloads of podcasts hpodder is SAFE and is designed with data integrity in mind from the beginning. It should be exceedingly difficult to lose a podcast episode, even in the event of a power failure.

Binary indexed trees are a data structure on indexes 1 through n. They allow you to compute the sum of all values at indexes 1 through i in O(logn) and to increase the value at index i in O(logn). This implements binary indexed trees, both as an immutable data structure in pure code and as a mutable data structure using the ST Monad. Both the immutable and mutable version have the same runtime complexity, but the mutable version has a smaller constant. Written by Maxwell Sayles (2012).

An experimental library for creating promises that can be evaluated in pure code.

Manipulate identifiers and structurally non-complex pieces of text by delimiting word boundaries via a combination of whitespace, control-characters, and case-sensitivity. Has support for common idioms like casing of programmatic variable names, taking, dropping, and splitting by word, and modifying the first character of a piece of text. Caution: this library makes heavy use of the text library's internal loop optimisation framework. Since internal modules are not guaranteed to have a stable API there is potential for build breakage when the text dependency is upgraded. Consider yourself warned!

This package contains bindings to the Wayland library, which is used to interface display devices, drawable clients, and window managers. Wayland exposes a "fixed" set of functions, and additionally generates a part of its API from a "protocol" file. This package locates that protocol file using pkg-config. If you want to interface with other protocols (such as Weston's), refer to the readme for instructions.

A Haskell-embedded computer algebra system that knows nothing about algebra, at the core.

Associate and generate "piecewise-mutable" versions for your composite data types. Think of it like a "generalized MVector for all ADTs". Useful for a situation where you have a record with many fields (or many nested records) that you want to use for efficient mutable in-place algorithms. This library lets you do efficient "piecewise" mutations (operations that only edit one field), and also efficient entire-datatype copies/updates, as well, in many cases. This package is not very different from the other SQLite3 bindings out there, but it fixes a few deficiencies I was finding. As compared to bindings-sqlite3, it is slightly higher-level, in that it supports marshalling of data values to and from the database. In particular, it supports strings encoded as UTF8, and BLOBs represented as ByteStrings.

Given a term, this program calculates a set of "optimal" free theorems that hold in a lambda calculus with selective strictness. It omits totality (in general, bottom-reflection) and other restrictions when possible. The underlying theory is described in the paper "Taming Selective Strictness" (ATPS'09) by Daniel Seidel and Janis Voigtländer. The Gtk Toy Framework is a simplifying interface over Gtk for creating applications which draw things and interact with the mouse and keyboard. It handles the minutae of setting up the Gtk window and canvas, and processes the input events into more palatable data structures.

This library provides functions for use in parsing indentation sensitive contexts. It parses blocks of lines all indented to the same level as well as lines continued at an indented level below.

A library for parsing Subversion dump files. The objective is to convert a dump file into a series of data structures representing that same information. It uses Data.ByteString.Lazy to reading the file, and Data.Text to represent text fields which may contain Unicode characters.

The texmath library provides functions to read and write TeX math, presentation MathML, and OMML (Office Math Markup Language, used in Microsoft Office). Support is also included for converting math formats to Gnu eqn and to pandoc's native format (allowing conversion, via pandoc, to a variety of different markup formats). The TeX reader supports basic LaTeX and AMS extensions, and it can parse and apply LaTeX macros. (See here for a live demo of bidirectional conversion between LaTeX and MathML.) The package also includes several utility modules which may be useful for anyone looking to manipulate either TeX math or MathML. For example, a copy of the MathML operator dictionary is included. Use the executable flag to install a standalone executable, texmath, that by default reads a LaTeX formula from stdin and writes MathML to stdout. With flags all the functionality exposed by Text.TeXMath can be accessed through this executable. (Use the --help flag for a description of all functionality) The texmath executable can also be used as a CGI script, when renamed as texmath-cgi. It will expect query parameters for from, to, input, and optionally inline, and return a JSON object with either error and a message or success and the converted result.

Haskell types for the Pokemon Go protobuf API

Fast Fourier transform and convolution via the accelerate package. It uses many of the common tricks to achieve optimal speed for every size of the data set, but it does not contain low-level optimizations. For CUDA specific optimizations please see cufft and accelerate-fft and accelerate-cufft packages. For CPU specific optimizations cf. accelerate-fftw package.

CQL Cassandra driver supporting native protocol versions 3 and 4. This library uses the cql library which implements Cassandra's CQL protocol and complements it with the neccessary I/O operations. The feature-set includes: Node discovery. The driver discovers nodes automatically from a small set of bootstrap nodes. Customisable load-balancing policies. In addition to pre-built LB policies such as round-robin, users of this library can provide their own policies if desired. Support for connection streams. Requests can be multiplexed over a few connections. Customisable retry settings. Support for default retry settings as well as local overrides per query. Prepared queries. Prepared queries are an optimisation which parse and prepare a query only once on Cassandra nodes but execute it many times with different concrete values. TLS support. Client to node communication can optionally use transport layer security (using HsOpenSSL).

A protocol library enabling wireless communications via XBee/XBee-PRO (ZibBee) ZNet 2.5 RF modules. The library performs binary encoding/decoding, on-the-wire framing, and error checking of control and data API frames. In other words the library expects to communicate with an XBee modem that has AP parameter = 2, indicating API frames with HDLC-like escape characters. This mode provides for 8-bit transparent operation and is described in Section 6 of ftp://ftp1.digi.com/support/documentation/90000866_C.pdf. The library code is 100% pure; nothing here depends on the IO monad and no particular modem device is assumed. The code depends on the cereal package for serialization but is otherwise pretty standard. The test suite is based on QuickCheck properties.

Prelude extracted from observing NoImplicitPrelude using projects by https://github.com/mbj. Idea is to not design a prelude, but to observe one by deduplicating repeated imports cross a larger project space.

Stack fix works by running `stack build` and by parsing and interpreting the build errors/suggestions it applies any build fixes required to the stack.yaml, .cabal, etc. These fixes usually involve specifying build dependencies versions or adding new build dependencies.

Feldspar (**F**unctional **E**mbedded **L**anguage for **DSP** and **PAR**allelism) is an embedded DSL for describing digital signal processing algorithms. This library (FeldsparCompiler) contains a prototype compiler that supports C code generation from programs written in this language both according to ANSI C and also targeted to a real DSP HW.
